4 of the 50 retailers we track have posted their 2026 holiday return dates so far, and the latest deadline is January 31, 2027 (Amazon, Kohl's, Macy's and Walmart). We check the rest every day and update this page as dates are announced.

- Apple: Last season: received Nov 12–Dec 25 → return by Jan 8. Usually announced mid-November.
- Best Buy: Reported for 2026: bought Oct 31–Dec 31 → return by Jan 15, 2027, with a matching Holiday Price Match Guarantee. Not yet on bestbuy.com.
- Burlington: Usually extends for mid-October to early-December purchases into early January.
- Dell: Usually extends returns and price guarantees for November–December buys into mid-January.
- Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic: Past seasons: mid-October to Dec 24 purchases returnable to mid-January.
- Kay, Zales & Jared: Usually extends November–December purchases to late January.
- QVC: Usually runs a holiday return period starting in the fall.
- Saks Fifth Avenue: Last season: bought Nov 15–Dec 15 → return by Jan 15.
- Sephora: Last season: bought Oct 31–Dec 30 → exchange or credit through Jan 30.
- Staples: Usually extends the 14-day tech window into mid-January.
- T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods: Last season: in-store purchases Oct 5–Dec 24 returnable to Jan 25; online to Feb 4.
- Target: Last season: electronics bought Nov 1–Dec 24 returnable to Jan 24; Apple, Beats and phones to about Jan 8.
- Ulta Beauty: Last season holiday purchases were returnable through Jan 31.
- lululemon: Past seasons: November–Dec 23 purchases returnable to about Jan 23.
